This project was started in October 2006 with a deadline to finish by March 15 2007. The scope of work was the complete renovation of all four units, three of them two bedroom, one bath apartments and one three bed, two bath residence at the back, as well as converting them into condos. The ceiling popcorn was removed and all 4,500 square feet of ceiling were skimmed flat. Extensive work went into the kitchen remodel where all the existing cabinetry was replaced along with entirely new electrical wiring and a new dedicated subpanel with six circuits in each flat. A new gas line was also fed into the kitchens allowing a new gas range to replace the original electric one.

The bathrooms also underwent a transformation with attractive tiling replacing the linoleum, new bathtubs, sinks and toilets. All the wall and ceiling surfaces were painted and the floor coverings were replaced with carpet in the bedrooms and real hardwood maple flooring in the living, dining and kitchen areas. The finishing touches were put on with a redwood fence at the front and rear of the building and a total paint job across all four units.

We finished on time and within budget. The owner has since contracted us to begin his next project and we are looking forward to it!
